Visual Field Progression
The Visual Fields Progressor software, developed at the Institute of Ophthalmology, allows easy comparison of Humphrey visual fields tests. The package allows the import of raw data from the Humphrey machine and stores the information in its own database. The main screen, shown above, gives an overview of the field data. At each location in the Humphrey testing grid, the length of the line indicates the amount of depression of the visual field and the colour indicates the level of significance of the change as shown in the legend. The software can also detect progressing points, give a measure of progression in terms of decibels / year and apply gaussian spacial filtering to the results. It is also possible to merge the results from a pair of Humphrey fields to form a simulated binocular view.
