The Intravitreal Injection suite was opened in July 2008. Treatments such as Avastin, Lucentis and Kenalog may be administered in a clean room environment. Currently used mainly for treatment of macular degeneration, the exciting possibilities of this type of treatment may also be used for other ocular diseases in the future.
